www.nevadamusic.co.uk Check out some of the sounds and features of the Roland new TD4k electronic drum kit. The Roland TD4K V-Drum Kit takes over where the TD-3 left off except that the TD-4 has a host of new features and four times the wave memory of its predecessor … There’s also a new re-enforced drum stand that’s still just as lightweight and compact but now a whole lot stronger, aside from the new stand Roland have supplemented the TD-4 with a centre mounted sound module that contains new sounds and sensors within the pads that have an even greater degree of touch sensitivity … The snare pad has a patented mesh head for improved feel and resonance, whilst the toms and cymbals are velocity sensitive with the cymbals also having a “choke” capability. The TD4K is also expandable to include an optional pad or if preferred the user can replace the ride cymbal to a CY-12R/C 3-way trigger V-Cymbal, the kit is also compatible with the optional VH-11 V-Hi-Hat which can be mounted on a conventional hi-hat stand. Pre-programmed kit patches can be customised by the ability to tune and dampen each drum to the user’s own preference whilst ambient effects such as reverb can also be controlled to suit the occasion. To improve your playing skills Roland have also included their acclaimed Coach Mode which tests and trains drumming skills such as timing, accuracy and stamina. The Coach programme offers a diverse range of drumming excercises that can run for 5, 10 or 15 minutes and

I think I was actually standing there when they filmed this…

munchdonuts @ 2:02 pm #

@itsB0BBY thanks alot man. that helped me more! i agree with you! here i go TD-4k!

itsB0BBY @ 2:05 pm #

@munchdonuts well i basically had the same problem, but then i found out more about the alesis heads, they’re good n all but there is an inner foam bit which wears out after about a week, so your gonna have to replace it with like a mouse pad. Which i think is a bit naff, also sometimes the alesis doesnt work and sensitivity messes up, also needs alot of tweaking and hard to tune. so thats why im going with the roland td-4k

munchdonuts @ 2:12 pm #

im torn between the two, alesis DM10 or roland TD-4K

what you guys think!??!

CurtisMitchell7 @ 4:27 pm #

@CurtisMitchell7 well if your using any sort of producing programs such as Logic or Protools etc then you can record straight into that using the lead that comes with the kit that enables you to put it from the kit into the computer.

monogiant23 @ 5:10 pm #

@CurtisMitchell7 how can you record straight into your computer?

frostch @ 5:24 pm #

can you just play this with head phones? or do you need an amp

joffile1 @ 5:55 pm #

great video

CurtisMitchell7 @ 6:24 pm #

it really is worth the money i think, great practice kit, you can record straight into a computer, you can also add new bits to the kit.

qwertywoods @ 6:57 pm #

Hey man, there’s a time and place for everything.

Sometimes you just cant pull off the real deal and this is a great second choice.

UrbanNinja216 @ 7:27 pm #

jonytsunami @ 8:03 pm #

Just got the chance to reply, yeah that’s a sick technique.

surfman88 @ 8:33 pm #

Hi, can some1 tell me if it is possible to use the FD 8 (hihat pedal) for bassdrum. Cause i like to keep things quiet for neighbours :) . The bassdrum of td4 is the only noisy part, so i really need a solution before buying it. Thanks for some advice.
